Job summary

Michael Patrick’s in Biloxi is seeking a friendly and professional cashier to join our fast-paced team. As the first point of contact, you will greet and assist guests as they enter.

Responsibilities include processing food orders, handling cash, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Previous dining room experience is beneficial and on-the-job training is provided. This is a tipped position with base pay around $10 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months’ experience in dining room operations beneficial.
• Able to obtain state gaming licenses and Alcohol Beverage Control Card (where required).
• On-the-job training available.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, enthusiastic service for all guests.
• Explain menu items, answer questions, and suggest additional items.
• Accurately complete orders and guest transactions.
• Enter guest orders into the point-of-sale system.
• Accept payments, operate cash registers, and maintain receipts.
• Handle cash payments, comps, and credit card payment accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment.
• Clean and maintain guest areas including dining room, counters.
• Stock paper goods, condiments, silverware, and beverages.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Accurately complete, package, and present guest orders.
• Other work assigned.
• Clean and arrange eating, service, and kitchen spaces.
• Help kitchen staff when needed.

In this position, delivering outstanding customer service will be your main objective. Additional responsibilities include processing food orders, cleaning public spaces, and packaging orders. The ideal candidate will be friendly, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
