Job Summary

Summary: The cashier performs cash transactions, verifies cash drawers, makes change, counts receipts, and completes cash reports. May also assist in food service. Maintains sanitation standards in all areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Process sales transactions efficiently.
2. Accurately record all sales in the cash register.
3. Handle payments, give change, accept various payment methods, and issue receipts.
4. Follow procedures for cash refunds.
5. Interact positively with customers and resolve complaints courteously.
6. Manage change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance with standards.
7. Monitor customer purchases and differentiate portion sizes.
8. Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness of service areas.
9. Stock the pastry case and maintain inventory.
10. Adhere to company standards for service, inventory, and cash control.
11. Comply with sanitation, ServSafe, and safety regulations.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned.
