• We are hiring immediately for a full-time CASHIER position.
• Location: Ballad Health Indian Path Community Hospital - 2000 Brookside Drive, Kingsport, TN 37660. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; Days may vary, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Rotating weekends required. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior food service, cashier, and cash handling experience is required.
• Pay Range: $11.50 to $12.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashier duties including cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting receipts, and completing reports. May also assist with general food service. Maintains sanitation standards in all areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process sales transactions efficiently.
• Accurately record all sales in the cash register.
• Handle cash, cards, and issue receipts.
• Follow procedures for refunds.
• Interact with customers professionally and resolve complaints.
• Manage change funds and ensure cash drawer accuracy.
• Monitor customer purchases and differentiate portions.
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness.
• Stock pastry cases.
• Follow service, inventory, and cash control standards.
• Comply with sanitation, ServSafe, and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
