Rural King Farm and Home Store is seeking a dedicated Cashier to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure smooth transactional experiences at the checkouts. You will greet customers, process transactions accurately, and maintain a welcoming store environment.

The role emphasizes following cashier scripts, promoting the RK loyalty program and RK Visa, and maintaining accurate cash handling and paperwork. A proactive, friendly attitude supports the family-friendly Rural King values.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and a desire to help others.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Exceed customer expectations by delivering outstanding service through clear communication and active listening.
• Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor as they enter the store.
• Follow the cashier script to assist customers and educate them on loyalty programs and protection plans.
• Execute cash management, returns, layaway and exchange policies with accuracy.
• Communicate professionally with Rural King associates and customers.
• Provide product information and answer basic customer inquiries with recommendations.
