Rural King is seeking a Cashier to deliver friendly, accurate service and handle transactions at the front end. You will support a positive customer experience by answering questions, processing payments, and promoting loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using computers and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Process cash, credit, debit, and other transactions accurately.
• Follow procedures for cash handling, returns, exchanges, layaways, and price disputes.
• Educate customers about Rural King Loyalty Program, RK Visa, and RK Plus Protection Plan (RKPPP).
• Respond to store calls using professional phone etiquette.
• Coordinate with loaders and associates to address customer needs.
• Reconcile registers and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain clean and stocked checkout areas and nearby facilities.
• Train and assist new Cashiers as needed.
