Job Summary

Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness at the coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts. Help prepare catering orders.
2. Handle cashier duties using the POS system.
3. Perform general cleaning; remove trash to designated areas.
4. Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
5. Cashier following established procedures, ensuring cash accuracy with receipts. Make deposits at shift end.
6. Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
7. Set up serving line, monitor food temperatures, record, and notify cooks if out of range.
8. Serve hot and cold items to customers.
9. Prepare items for daily purchase setup.
10. Stock refrigerator and rotate products using FIFO.
11. Maintain pantry par levels, record replenishments and refrigerator temperatures daily.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned.
