An established industry player in healthcare is seeking a dedicated Cashier to join its vibrant team. This role involves performing essential cashier duties, ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service, and adhering to strict sanitation and food handling standards. Performs all cashier duties such as being courteous, totaling sales, and providing correct change. Must follow all cashier policies and guidelines daily by maintaining the register and keeping it locked at all times. Additional duties may include stocking condiments, cleaning, serving, and occasional prepping. Follows established practices and procedures for patient identification and service.
Education/Licensure/Certifications: High school graduate or GED preferred.
Experience: Food service experience in a high-volume setting preferred.
Additional Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication and customer service skills required. Must be knowledgeable of and able to follow standards of federal, state, and regulatory agencies, including the Joint Commission, for sanitation, food preparation, and handling. Ability to properly identify patients and maintain confidentiality is essential.
