1. Checking out customers promptly, courteously, efficiently, and accurately
2. Maintaining a clean and stocked work area
3. Knowing current ads and information posted by the head cashier or manager
4. Counting tills and maintaining required balances
5. Providing courteous customer service and assistance
6. Reporting customer complaints to the manager
7. Assisting customers verbally and physically
8. Monitoring for shoplifting and notifying management
9. Ordering and stocking products when assigned
10. Performing cleaning tasks
11. Operating telephones and intercoms professionally
12. Following company policies outlined in training manuals and handbooks
13. Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Following verbal and written instructions
• Lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 500 pounds
• Reaching and stocking up to 6 ft high
