• We are hiring immediately for a full-time and part-time Cashier/Food Service Worker position.
• Location: Caterpillar Sanford - 5000 Womack Road, Sanford, NC 27330. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules; Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 1:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Job Summary

Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts. Assist with catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
• Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Handle cashiering according to procedures, maintain cash accuracy, and make deposits at shift end.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up serving line, ensure food temperatures are within acceptable ranges, and notify cooks if not.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepare items for purchase daily.
• Stock refrigerator and rotate products using FIFO.
• Maintain pantry levels and record temperature and stock data daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
