CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

• We have an opening for full-time and part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.
• Location: Georgia Aquarium - 225 Baker Street, Atlanta, GA 30313. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules; days and hours may vary. Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Three to five years of prior customer service, cashier, and retail experience is required.
• Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Operates POS system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, and caterings.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
• Perform cleaning duties; manage trash and garbage.
• Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Handle cashiering accurately, maintain cash accuracy, and make deposits at shift end.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food items.
• Set up serving line, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks if out of range.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Set up items for purchase daily.
• Stock refrigerators and rotate products using FIFO.
• Maintain pantry par levels, record replenishments, and monitor refrigerator temperatures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
