We are hiring immediately for a full-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.

Location: CHS Northeast Regional Medical Center - 315 South Osteopathy, Kirksville, MO 63501. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm; additional details provided upon interview.

Requirement: One year of previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of the coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, including catering orders.
• Handle cashier duties using the POS system accurately.
• Perform cleaning duties, including trash removal.
• Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Maintain cash accuracy and make deposits at shift end.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up serving lines, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks of any issues.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepare items for purchase and ensure refrigerator stock is rotated properly.
• Record refrigerator temperatures and replenish food items as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
