Location: Northeast Regional Medical Center - 315 South Osteopathy, Kirksville, MO 63501. Note: online applications accepted only.

Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, including catering orders.
2. Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
3. Maintain cleanliness by performing general cleaning duties and managing trash.
4. Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
5. Handle cash transactions accurately and make deposits at shift end.
6. Inventory and restock supplies and food items.
7. Set up serving lines, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks if temperatures are not within acceptable ranges.
8. Serve hot and cold items to customers.
9. Prepare items for sale daily and ensure proper stock rotation.
10. Record refrigerator temperatures and replenishment activities.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned.
