Join to apply for the CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME) role at Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services.

We are hiring immediately for a full-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER position at Midwestern University, 555 31st Street, Downers Grove, IL 60515. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm; Friday, 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirements: Previous cash handling experience and a valid Food Handler's certificate are preferred.

Pay Range: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Operate Point of Sale system and assist with food preparation and station cleanliness.
2. Prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, and assist with catering orders.
3. Perform cashier duties accurately using the POS system and handle cash deposits.
4. Maintain cleanliness, restock supplies, and ensure food safety standards are met.
5. Serve customers and manage inventory and refrigeration.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
