• Location: Roper Hospital - 316 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; Days may vary. 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: No prior experience required.
• Pay Range: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Operate POS system, assist the Chef, prepare coffee, and maintain cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, including catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness by performing general cleaning duties and trash removal.
• Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, maintain receipts, and make deposits at shift end.
• Restock supplies and food products as needed.
• Set up serving lines, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks if temperatures are outside acceptable ranges.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepare items for purchase daily and ensure proper stock levels.
• Rotate stock using FIFO, record refrigerator temperatures, and maintain proper storage procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
