Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a friendly Cashier to be the face of the store. You will process transactions accurately, assist customers with questions, and help maintain clean, well-organized checkout areas. The role supports stocking and front-end duties while staying responsive to customer needs.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma and cashier experience, and can work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Strong numeracy and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude for customer interaction.
• Ability to operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs and push carts up to 35 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and provide information to customers.
• Assist with stocking shelves, facing, and store cleanliness as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads and product locations; communicate with front end manager.
