Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Cashier to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, friendly environment. You will process transactions accurately, assist customers with product locations, and help with stocking and front-end duties as needed.

The role requires an 18+ year-old with a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of cashiering experience, plus a dependable, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years’ cashiering experience.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment (register, scanner) and handle cash accurately.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable and punctual.
• Good communication, ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks and multi-task while staying organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and push/pull cart up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and with friendly service.
• Maintain checkout areas in clean and orderly condition and assist customers with locating products.
• Handle cash, credit/debit transactions, and provide change and receipts.
• Support stocking and front-end duties as needed and communicate with front end management.
