Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Cashier to be the face of the store, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and with friendly service while helping customers locate products and understand weekly ads.

You will handle cash/credit transactions, assist with stocking and front-end duties, maintain clean checkout areas, and participate in a fast-paced team environment with flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to operate front end equipment; register, calculator, scanner.
• Flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Process each customer’s order quickly, accurately, and efficiently with prompt and friendly service.
• Handle customer cash, credit/debit payments and give correct change.
• Maintain checkout areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed.
• Inform customers about product locations and weekly ad items; communicate with front end management.
