Job summary

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong math and cashier skills.

Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows cash handling procedures and credit procedures.
• Keeps front end areas clean and stocked, including the register.
• Assists supervisor by managing customer flow and waiting times.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Prepares, stores, rotates, and merchandises products to maximize sales.
• Adheres to Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safety standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and reports hazards.
