Floor & Decor is seeking a Cashier (Customer Service Associate) in San Diego, CA. You will be the first and last interaction for customers, greeting them, assisting with purchases, and processing returns to deliver an exceptional store experience.

Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available. The role emphasizes friendly, proactive service, accuracy at the POS, and adherence to safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Potential travel to other stores for support.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Demonstrate and understand compliance with the company’s safety processes.
• Process customers at checkout using the POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Open and close registers.
• Follow cash, check and credit card procedures.
• Answer the telephone according to guidelines.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise as required.
