Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio is seeking a part-time Cashier/Sales Floor Associate in North Canton, OH. You will handle customer transactions, keep the store stocked, and build relationships with customers and donors.

The role emphasizes accurate POS handling, friendly service, and contributing to a tidy, well-presented sales floor. Prior retail experience and basic computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Mathematics proficiency for transactions and pricing.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Ability to identify color shades and visually inspect clothing items.
• Basic computer and POS system familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately at the POS.
• Maintain stocked and displayed merchandise.
• Provide friendly, helpful service and handle donor interactions.
• Assist with training new staff as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize shelves and displays.
• Support floor running, apparel rotation, and dressing room upkeep.
• Follow all safety policies and report concerns.
• Close out cash and balance till with supervisor guidance.
• End each transaction with a positive customer experience message.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
