Job Summary:

Cage - Cashiers safeguard casino bankroll. Are responsible for cash, chips, and negotiable instrument transactions at the casino cage. This position's starting wage is $15.

Essential Functions:

1. Develops and maintains a service standard that ensures the delivery of superior internal/external guest service by all team members.
2. Count all cash drawer currency prior to performing any cash transactions.
3. Issue fills and credits for table games / Jackpots for Slot Department.
4. Cash checks, process markers for approved credit players upon proper identification.
5. Follow federal cash reporting requirements.
6. Ensure department adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures.
7. Knowledge of all promotions and events.
8. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. High School graduate or equivalent.
2. Excellent customer service skills.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Must be able to account for large sums of currency.
5. Previous cash handling experience preferred.
6. Respond to visual and aural cues.
7. Read, write, speak, and understand English.
8. Able to work flexible shifts.

Physical Requirements:

1. Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations.
2. Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.

Environmental Working Conditions:

1. The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
2. Able to be confined to a small area for a long period of time.
