Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a hospitality focused Cashier/ Cafe Attendant to join our team!

Starting pay rate is $15/hr.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Cashier/ Cafe Attendant:

• Greet and interact with residents and visitors in a friendly and approachable manner.
• Handle resident and visitor requests, concerns, and complaints with a positive and professional attitude.
• Ensure all customers feel welcomed and valued, creating a pleasant dining experience.
• Operate the POS system to accurately process customer orders.
• Ensure all transactions are completed correctly, including sales, refunds, and voids.
• Be familiar with processing credit cards as a form of payment, ensure payments are correctly processed.
• Issue receipts and provide any necessary documentation for transactions.
• Assist with food prep as needed (cutting fruit, packaging fruit, etc).
• Follow food safety guidelines and ensure all food items are prepared and stored correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness in the prep area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Be flexible and willing to take on additional tasks or assist other team members as needed.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have

• Exceptional customer service skills required - we're looking for someone who is friendly, approachable, and enjoys engaging with people. A positive attitude and the ability to build rapport with residents and guests is essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Must be able to operate POS systems.
• Must be able to reconcile credit cards.
• Must be available to work full-time. The schedule is Monday-Friday and every other Saturday, 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM.
