Job summary

Vail Resorts in the United States is hiring for Winter Seasonal Retail/Rental associates to generate sales through world-class guest service, assist customers with rental equipment (Boot Fitting) and provide gear and services for the ultimate outdoor experience.

Starting wage is $20.00/hr with part-time hours; this seasonal role runs 2026/2027 winter, offering access to employee passes, discounts on lodging/gear, and Epic Service training to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Maintain working knowledge of products and trends in the ski retail rental industry.
• Ability to stand and move in an active, team-oriented environment for extended periods; must communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service at one of our retail shops.
• Fit guests with equipment and provide training as needed.
• Explain equipment operation, safety practices, and rental terms to guests.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain safety standards.
• May include cashiering and additional retail duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities
