Job summary

Bonrue Bakery in Orem, UT is hiring a Cashier/Barista to greet guests, guide them through the pastry case, and ring up orders with confidence.

You will keep the front of house clean, stocked, and presentable, while working closely with kitchen and barista teams in a high-volume setting. Must be 16+ and able to stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Customer service and hospitality mindset essential.
• Ability to guide guests through the menu with enthusiasm.
• Experience with POS systems and quick, accurate ring-ups.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of front-of-house.
• Willingness to obtain Utah Food Handler's Permit if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and guide them through offerings.
• Ring up orders accurately using the POS system.
• Package pastries and drinks with care and presentation.
• Restock, rotate, and maintain pastry cases and front-of-house.

The Role

As a Cashier/Barista, you'll be the first and last impression for every guest. You'll help them navigate the pastry case, ring up orders with confidence, and bring calm energy to a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You'll also keep the front of house clean, stocked, and beautiful - because at Bonrue, the details matter.

What You'll Do

• Welcome every guest with warmth, energy, and speed
• Guide guests through our menu with knowledge and enthusiasm
• Take and ring orders with accuracy using our POS system
• Package pastries and drinks with care and presentation standards
• Restock merchandise, paper goods, and grab-and-go items
• Keep pastry cases clean, rotated, and visually stunning
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house at all times
• Work closely with kitchen and barista teams to ensure smooth service
• Assist with opening/closing duties as assigned
