Job summary

Craft Culinary Concepts is hiring a part-time, entry-level Cashier at Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, AZ. This role focuses on fast, friendly, and accurate service in a high-volume venue, handling guest transactions and assisting with food and beverage service.

You will greet guests, take orders, process payments, coordinate with cooks and runners, and maintain a clean workstation while following safety and alcohol serving guidelines where permitted.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16*.
• High school diploma or equivalent, unless currently enrolled.
• Valid County Food Handler Card required and must be in possession each shift.
• Valid TEAM, TIPS, or AZ Title 4 certification required if 18 or older and serving alcohol.
• Basic cash-handling skills, including the ability to total orders and make change.
• Ability to operate a credit card machine.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of guests served.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment paperwork, background check, and basic math assessment.

• Communicate guest feedback and operational needs to supervisors.
• Work effectively as part of a team while also handling tasks independently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

PHYSICAL & SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and remain mobile for up to four (4) hours at a time.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to work in tight spaces, fluctuating temperatures, and noisy environments.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
