Job summary

Craft Culinary Concepts in Gilbert, AZ seeks a friendly Cashier to deliver fast, accurate service in a high-volume venue. You will greet guests, take orders, process cash and card transactions, and help maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Responsibilities include serving alcohol where permitted, restocking, assisting with food service, supporting event setup and breakdown, and communicating guest feedback to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid County Food Handler Card required and must be in possession each shift.
• Valid TEAM, TIPS, or AZ Title 4 certification required if 18 or older and serving alcohol.
• Basic cash-handling skills, including the ability to total orders and make change.
• Ability to operate a cash register and credit card machines.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment paperwork, background check, and basic math assessment.

Position Summary:

• Minimum age of 16*.
• High school diploma or equivalent, unless currently enrolled.
• Valid County Food Handler Card required and must be in possession each shift.
• Valid TEAM, TIPS, or AZ Title 4 certification required if 18 or older and serving alcohol.
• Basic cash-handling skills, including the ability to total orders and make change.
• Ability to operate a cash register and credit card machines.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of guests served.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment paperwork, background check, and basic math assessment.

Preferred:

• Two (2) or more years of counter service, concession, or high-volume food service experience.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

• Ability to stand and remain mobile for up to four (4) hours at a time.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to work in tight spaces, fluctuating temperatures, and noisy environments.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
