Job summary

King's Hawaiian is seeking a part-time team member in Torrance to greet customers with aloha, take orders, and support bakery and kitchen operations. You will handle the POS, answer phones, manage cash, and assist with refunds and sanitation guidelines.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English, good with math, able to multitask, and available nights, weekends, and holidays. This role emphasizes friendly service and teamwork in a diverse Ohana environment.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers with Aloha spirit and takes orders; explains dishes and bakery items.
• Answers phones and inputs orders into the POS system with excellent customer service.
• Identifies customer issues or complaints and reports to management.
• Operates the cash register and balances sales at end of shift.
• Advises management on refunds or credits for returned merchandise.
• Follows sanitation guidelines per health department.
• Assists in bakery/kitchen as needed and cleans restrooms as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Identify customer issues or complaints and report to management.
• Operates cash register following sales and cash handling and balances at end of each shift.
• Advises management when guests request cash refunds or credits for returned merchandise.
• Follows all sanitation guidelines as prescribed by the health department.
• Assists in bakery and kitchen departments as needed.
