Job summary

Qualifications

• Walk/stand for long periods with repetitive motions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate check out services for customers using computerized cash register systems.
• Handle money, weigh, scan, bag orders, and assist in locating items for shoppers.
• Perform cash audits and maintain accurate cash drawers.
• Keep check stands and surrounding areas clean; maintain neat personal appearance and dress code.
• Resolve service and product related customer issues and adhere to all policies.

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• providing fast, friendly, and accurate check out services for our customers using computerized cash register systems, handling and counting money
• often bag their customers' orders and help shoppers find items in the store.
• assist in the cleaning and dusting of the check stands and surrounding areas and may take “return” products back to proper shelf locations.
• Accuracy and basic math skills are important, as is the ability to memorize product identification codes and weekly ad specials.
• Weighing, scanning, and bagging orders
• Performing a cash audit of the contents in assigned cash drawer
• General maintenance, dusting, and cleaning of check stands and surrounding area
• Resolving service and product related customer service issues
• Maintaining a neat, well-groomed personal appearance, observing company dress code
• Abiding by all company policies and procedures
• Performing other duties and assignments as directed

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age

This is an hourly position and we offer a comprehensive benefits package (specifics vary based on position and classification).
