Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you are the face of the company, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. Your duties include handling cash, credit/debit payments, giving accurate change, providing product information, resolving complaints, stocking shelves, facing and dusting, maintaining knowledge of weekly ads, guiding customers to products, and communicating effectively with management. You will also ensure checkout areas are clean and orderly, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Have an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and excellent customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills; able to take directions and work in a team.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks, multitasking, prioritizing, and staying organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in cash handling, and basic math skills.
