Job summary

Beyond Catering in River Forest, IL, is seeking a Front of House Guest Service Associate to learn cashier, expediter and drive-thru positions. You will greet guests, record orders accurately and take payment while serving food to meet high-quality standards.

Work includes maintaining a clean, sanitary workspace and delivering outstanding guest service. You will rotate through cashier and expediter/server tasks, ensuring orders are prepared correctly and served promptly, with a focus on teamwork

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and positive attitude.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain Food Handler certificate.
• Must maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cashier responsibilities include knowing the menu, working with enthusiasm, and greeting guests with a smile.
• Take orders accurately, record payments, and ensure outstanding service with the team.
• Expediter/Server duties include recognizing food, ensuring proper preparation before serving.
• Communicate with kitchen and servers; assist with take-out and phone orders.
• Serve food timely and correctly; maintain cleanliness and sanitation; perform other duties as assigned.

Pay range:

From $15 - $17; based on experience + tips.

Job Summary:

As a Front of House Guest Service Associate, you will be expected to learn cashier, expediter and drive-thru positions. You will greet our guests with a smile, quickly and accurately record orders, and take payment. You will also serve food that meets our high-quality standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace.

Responsibilities:

Cashier:

• Knowledge and understanding of our menu
• Take pride in every aspect of your work and perform with enthusiasm
• Communicate and work with your team to give outstanding service to our guests
• Greet every guest with a smile!

Expediter/Server:

• Be able to recognize our food as it is presented from the kitchen
• Ensure all food is being made properly before being handed out to guests
• Communication with kitchen and servers
• Assist with take-out/phone orders
• Serve & auction food properly and in a timely manner
• Cleaning and sanitizing as needed
• Other duties as assigned
