Job summary

Beyond Catering in Itasca, IL seeks a Front of House Guest Service Associate to learn cashier, expediter and drive-thru positions. You will greet guests with a smile, quickly record orders, and take payment while serving food upholding high quality standards and a clean workspace.

You will also support with take-out orders, coordinate with kitchen and servers, and ensure timely, accurate service in a fast-paced environment. Benefits include competitive wages and scheduling options.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and record orders quickly and accurately.
• Take payment and perform cashier duties.
• Ensure food meets quality standards and keep the workspace clean.
• Know and explain menu items; collaborate with team for great service.
• Identify dishes as they leave the kitchen and ensure proper preparation.
• Coordinate with kitchen and servers; assist with take-out/phone orders.
• Serve food promptly and maintain sanitation; perform other duties as assigned.

Pay range:

From $15 - $17; based on experience + tips.

Job Summary:

As a Front of House Guest Service Associate, you will be expected to learn cashier, expediter and drive-thru positions.You will greet our guests with a smile, quickly and accurately record orders, and take payment. You will also serve food that meets our high-quality standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace.

Responsibilities:

Cashier:

• Knowledge and understanding of our menu
• Take pride in every aspect of your work and perform with enthusiasm
• Communicate and work with your team to give outstanding service to our guests
• Greet every guest with a smile!

Expediter/Server:

• Be able to recognize our food as it is presented from the kitchen
• Ensure all food is being made properly before being handed out to guests
• Communication with kitchen and servers
• Assist with take-out/phone orders
• Serve & auction food properly and in a timely manner
• Cleaning and sanitizing as needed
• Other duties as assigned
