Job summary

HOTEL VALET SERVICES OF OKLAHOMA is seeking part-time cashiers to welcome guests, seat them promptly and manage orders at the POS. You will transport items, handle payments, and assist with daily tasks in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Responsibilities include taking orders, upselling menu items as appropriate, addressing guest concerns, and maintaining a clean, welcoming cashier area throughout your shift.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Transports and carries objects up to 15 pounds up to 15 times a shift.
• Ability to stand and perform duties for extended periods.
• Must be able to listen attentively to guests and colleagues.
• Prior experience in host/hostess, cashier or customer service roles is desirable.

• Take payments and manage cash drawer.
• Enter all orders into the POS system and manage takeout orders.
• Respond to and resolve customer complaints and concerns.

We are currently seeking Cashiers to join our team!Job responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to:Provide warm welcome to incoming Guests while ensuring timely seatingMake genuine connections and engage Guests to ensure a personalized dining experienceFollow proper phone etiquette when answering the phonesBus tables and deliver food to Guests, as well as complete other daily tasks like maintaining a clean, orderly cashier areaMaintains a clean and organized work area and completes cleaning as assigned.Respond to and resolve customer complaints and concernsAccommodates any special needs of guests, i.e., boosters, highchairs, disabilities.Take payments and manage cash drawerApply menu knowledge to make knowledgeable suggestions to the GuestsCorrectly enter all orders into the POS system, as well as bag and manage takeout ordersThank Guests as they leave, soliciting feedback about the quality of their service and dining experience1.
