Job Responsibilities:

1. Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
2. Understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders and loyalty offers according to company policy.
3. Adhere to cash handling limits and work honestly to control loss.
4. Follow guidelines on restricted sale items such as alcohol, tobacco, and DVDs.
5. Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies on postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
6. Stay informed about current and upcoming promotions and advertisements.
7. Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions.
8. Maintain equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
9. Create a welcoming environment for customers, assisting with product questions.
10. Follow all applicable laws and company policies.
11. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
12. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
13. Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
14. Support customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
15. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
