Position Responsibilities:

1. Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
2. Understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders and adhering to company policies on cash handling and restricted sale items.
3. Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
4. Stay current with advertising campaigns and adhere to food safety regulations.
5. Reinforce safety programs, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
6. Create a welcoming environment for customers by assisting with product inquiries.
7. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
8. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
9. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
10. Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
