Responsibilities

As a Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market, you are the face of the company, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. Your duties include handling cash, credit/debit payments, and providing product information and complaint resolution. You will also assist with stocking shelves, facing, dusting, maintaining clean checkout areas, and supporting store events and seminars. Maintaining excellent communication with the front end manager and Head Cashier is essential.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Have an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front end equipment such as registers, scanners, and calculators.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring a force up to 35 lbs., for up to 50 hours.
• Proficiency in cash handling, mathematical skills, and attention to detail.
