Job Summary

Accountable for accurately paying out money and keeping records of transactions.

Major Job Responsibilities/Duties

• Count money at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Pays out to suppliers as necessary.
• Weighs trucks/peddlers and performs data entry.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); College degree in business desirable or equivalent business experience

Job Related Experience

One to three years of previous cash handling experience in retail environment

Other required skills/certifications

• Ability to learn many different types of scrap metal.
• Excellent phone etiquette with clear verbal communication skills
• Basic math and computer skills necessary
• Work with various levels of customers with a focus on service.
