Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
Desired Previous Job Experience:
  • Customer service experience
  • Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk
Responsibilities:
  • Greet, engage, and assist customers actively and visibly.
  • Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system.
  • Handle various tenders and adhere to company policies on cash handling and restricted sale items.
  • Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
  • Stay current with advertisements and adhere to food safety and safety procedures.
  • Identify unsafe conditions, notify management, and practice preventive maintenance.
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and providing assistance.
  • Comply with all laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
