Job Overview

The Cashier is responsible for ensuring professional, accurate transactions with customers. The role involves handling customer transactions, managing petty cash, and maintaining workplace safety. The hourly rate is $14.50.

Responsibilities

1. Ring in customer transactions
2. Deal with customers courteously and professionally
3. Lend out money as necessary and manage petty cash
4. Handle invoices accurately and ensure bills are marked as “Paid”
5. Account for cash/credit/check transactions
6. Work with countermen and store managers to address customer issues
7. Locate missing funds if there's a register balance problem
8. Perform other duties as assigned
9. Maintain and promote workplace safety
10. Secure and transfer cash or assets

Qualifications

1. 1-2 years of retail experience
2. Experience handling cash preferred
3. 1 year of customer service experience preferred
