Responsibilities

An SP+ Cashier creates a stress-free, efficient, and enjoyable experience for each customer. Responsibilities include:

• Providing respectful and kind customer service, fulfilling the SP+ Promise.
• Being punctual, in uniform, and prepared to assist customers.
• Counting the initial revenue bank at the start of shift.
• Handling cash, validations, and maintaining cash security.
• Making change, issuing receipts/tickets, and calculating bills.
• Operating cash registers and quoting prices accurately.
• Providing directions and assisting customers in reaching their destinations.
• Completing lost ticket forms when necessary.
• Resolving customer complaints efficiently, seeking supervisor assistance when needed.
• Answering calls courteously and maintaining cleanliness of the booth and surrounding area.
• Monitoring inventory of supplies and verifying transaction logs against revenue.
• Recording daily transactions and revenue, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To succeed, candidates should have:

• Less than high school education or up to one month related experience.
• Availability for various shifts, including weekends and evenings if needed.
• A valid driver’s license with a good driving record, if applicable.
• Basic math skills, ability to handle cash, and read/write simple instructions.
• Good reasoning skills and ability to respond effectively to customer issues.
• Physical ability to sit, handle objects, and reach, with close vision capability.
