Your number one priority as a Part-Time Cashier will be to assist our customers during the checkout process and deliver on our high brand and execution standards with your team members. At Northern Tool + Equipment, we serve tradespeople and weekend warriors who want to work like them. Our mission is to ensure they have the right tools for the job and an easy, hassle-free experience at our store. Your positive and professional attitude contributes to our winning culture and leaves a lasting impression.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Greeting all customers as they enter the store and ensuring they enjoy the best shopping experience possible.
2. Completing all transactions quickly and accurately.
3. Offering our Protection Plan on all eligible products and our credit card on transactions (Incentive pay for selling protection plans and credit cards).
4. Being a team player by helping put away products, executing price changes, or other tasks to better serve our customers.

What you will bring to the table:

1. Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer service experience is appreciated but not required.
2. Flexible availability, willing to work some weekends and holidays.
3. A love of tools & equipment.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Ability to lift 70 lbs.
6. Service-focused mindset.
