A leading company is seeking a Head Cashier to provide exceptional customer service, manage checkout processes, and support cashiers. The role involves training new staff and ensuring smooth operations at the Front End. Ideal candidates will have prior cashier experience and a strong customer focus.
Cashiers play a critical customer service role by providing customers with fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service. They process checkout and/or return transactions, monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area, and proactively seek product knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities. They follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrinkage. A Head Cashier supports cashiers by expediting price checks, approving POS transactions and markdowns, and assisting with supervision, coaching, and training of other Front End Associates. The preferred qualification for a Head Cashier is 1+ years of cashier experience.
