Key Responsibilities:

• Process transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders such as cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, coupons, and loyalty offers.
• Adhere to company policies regarding cash shortages, overages, and restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay current with advertisements and promotions.
• Follow food safety regulations and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Maintain equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and providing assistance.
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflict professionally and acting with honesty and integrity.
• Support and assist diverse customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
