Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Customer service experience

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk

Responsibilities:

• Be visible, actively greeting, engaging, and assisting customers.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle various tenders such as Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers.
• Adhere to company policies on cash handling, restricted sale items, and pricing discrepancies.
• Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay current with advertisements and promotions.
• Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Identify unsafe conditions and notify management.
• Maintain equipment and report repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and providing assistance.
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
