Job Responsibilities:
  1. Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at checkout lanes.
  2. Handle various tenders such as cash, checks, credit/debit cards, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, loyalty offers, coupons, and checkout procedures according to company policy.
  3. Adhere to cash handling limits and work honestly to control loss.
  4. Follow guidelines on restricted sale items like alcohol, tobacco, and DVDs.
  5. Report pricing discrepancies and stay current with ads and promotions.
  6. Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or accidents.
  7. Maintain equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
  8. Create a welcoming environment for customers by assisting with product questions and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  9. Follow all applicable laws and company policies.
  10. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts effectively.
  11. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
  12. Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
  13. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  14. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
