Job summary

Wingstop is hiring a cashier to greet customers, take orders, and manage payments with a focus on accuracy and speed. You will upsell menu items, assist guests, verify ages for alcohol, and balance the cash register at the end of each shift.

Ideal candidates have prior cashier or restaurant experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a Food Handler Certification. This is a fast-paced role requiring reliability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers entering the restaurant and take orders.
• Place orders in-person and over the phone; upsell and maintain knowledge of menu.
• Process cash, credit card and gift card transactions; verify age for alcohol purchases.
• Answer questions, provide menu recommendations, and promote promotions.
• Balance the register at the end of the shift and hand over to the next shift.
• Maintain a clean Front of House and comply with safety/sanitation guidelines.
• Handle customer complaints and escalate to the manager when needed.

We are looking for team members who want to deliver a flavor experience.As a cashier at Wingstop, an individual will have to take and give out orders to the kitchen staff. He/she will have to be quick and efficient in communicating with crew members and kitchen staff to make sure the guests get their orders on time. A cashier will have to balance their cash drawers, listen and solve customer queries, and replace food if necessary.
