Job summary

Wingstop is hiring a cashier to welcome guests, take orders in-person and by phone, and ensure accurate and timely service. You will balance cash, process payments, upsell items, and maintain a clean, organized front of house.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant. Food handler certification is preferred; prior cashier/restaurant experience is a plus; follow safety guidelines and wear the uniform.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers entering the restaurant.
• Take orders in-person and over the phone; upsell and maintain knowledge of menu.
• Process cash, credit card and gift card transactions; verify age for alcohol purchases.
• Answer questions from customers and make menu recommendations.
• Monitor that orders are read within company quote times; ensure orders are accurate.
• Balance the register at the end of each shift and prepare for the next shift.
• Maintain a clean front-of-house area and uphold safety/sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain a professional appearance per Uniform Standards.
• Handle complaints and refer to management when needed.

We are looking for team members who want to deliver a flavor experience.As a cashier at Wingstop, an individual will have to take and give out orders to the kitchen staff. He/she will have to be quick and efficient in communicating with crew members and kitchen staff to make sure the guests get their orders on time. A cashier will have to balance their cash drawers, listen and solve customer queries, and replace food if necessary.
