Job summary

Zaxby’s is hiring Cashiers to be the first point of contact for guests. You will take and enter orders, handle payments, keep the dining room clean, and deliver a great experience by following SOPs with a sense of urgency.

As a Cashier, you will enter guest orders into the POS, greet guests as they arrive, explain menu items, and suggest add-ons. Must be 16+ and able to work at least 9 hours weekly; flexible hours and team member referral bonus are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, enthusiastic service for all guests
• Accurately complete orders and guest transactions
• Enter guest orders accurately into the point of sale system
• Accept payments, operate cash registers, and maintain receipts
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment
• Explain menu items, answer questions, and suggest additional items
• Greet guests as they enter and thank them as they leave
• Stock paper goods, condiments, serveware, and beverages
• Maintain equipment and inform management of maintenance needs
• Other work assigned

Responsibilities

The individual in this position is expected to engage in the following work-related activities and complete all training requirements including:

• Stock paper goods, condiments, serveware, and beverages
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Accurately complete, package, and present guest orders
• Other work assigned

Capabilities Requirement

• Sit, stand, and walk continuously
• Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb, including the use of ladders
• Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including lifting overhead
• Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation
