Job summary

Ed Martin Automotive Group is seeking a courteous cashier to handle payments and receipts with accuracy and professionalism on a dealership counter or service desk.

You will manage cash, checks, and card payments, operate the switchboard, and deliver friendly, efficient service to customers and colleagues while handling basic clerical duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customer
• Operate switchboard telephone system
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize hold time
• Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient with all customers and employees
• Other clerical duties as assigned

Ed Martin Automotive Group is looking to add Cashiers to our growing team. Ideal candidates will have prior cash handling, Point of Sale and understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting practices. Cashiers are responsible for receiving and recording accurate payments from customers and ensuring they have a great experience during the process.
