Job summary

Ellwood City Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is seeking a friendly cashier to handle transactions and provide excellent customer service at Napleton's Ellwood City CDJR. You will calculate bills, accept cash and card payments, and issue receipts while maintaining accuracy and a professional appearance.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, cashier experience (automotive dealership a plus), strong reading/comprehension, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Cashier experience; automotive dealership experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional appearance.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system.
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, sales deposits and verify against all cash, checks and credit card payments on hand at end of shift.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
• Assist with accounts receivable department as needed.
• Able to work a flexible work schedule, including some weekends and holidays.

The scheudle is as follows: Monday - 3pm-8pm or closing, Tuesday/Wednesday - 1pm-6pm, Thursday - 3pm-close. You will be expected to work 1 Friday and 3 Saturday's per month. Sunday - off.
