Job Responsibilities:
  1. Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at checkouts.
  2. Understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders and loyalty offers according to company policy.
  3. Adhere to company policies on cash handling, restricted sale items, and pricing discrepancies.
  4. Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons, and stay updated on current ads.
  5. Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
  6. Create a welcoming environment for customers, assisting with product questions and store navigation.
  7. Follow all applicable laws and company guidelines.
  8. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
  9. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
  10. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
  11. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  12. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
